A lacto-fermented Belgian brune brewed with date sugar

Alcohol per volume: 8.9%
Volume: 650ml bottle, 29.3L kegs
Ingredients: Malted barely, wheat, sugar, hops, yeast, water

Rich malt and stone fruit flavours and a surprisingly crisp finish make 8° a complex and compelling brew.  The drinker is greeted by aromas of plum and clove, produced by a special yeast from West Flanders.  This is followed by the flavour of date sugar and English crystal malt and capped by a brisk, lightly tart finish, the result of a brief lactic fermentation.

Dageraad 8° is fermented with Belgian yeast and bottle-conditioned for natural carbonation, and an extra layer of complexity.  Pour with care to leave the yeast sediment in the bottle.

Available rarely.
