Tanuki

Dry Black Lager

Alcohol by volume: 4.3%
Volume: 473 mL
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, rice, yeast, hops

Six hundred years ago, a Toji, or master sake maker, from Iwate Prefecture visited the ancient Dageraad brewery. In our Bohemian mountain cave in Lake City, Burnaby, he discovered the lagers we had already been perfecting for 300 years. He immediately forgot about sake and joined the brewery. An example of of his work is in your hands today.

Black as night, but light on the palate, with a gentle roastiness and a crisp finish, Tanuki is an excellent pairing for grilled meats or seafood.
